Tax pros: Details for the 2026 IRS Nationwide Tax Forum announced
Registration is officially open for the 2026 IRS Nationwide Tax Forum. This annual outreach event is designed specifically for the tax professional community, which includes enrolled agents, certified public accountants, Annual Filing Season Program participants and other tax professionals.
Each forum is a three-day event featuring more than 40 seminars and workshops led by IRS experts and partner organizations. The workshops focus on the latest federal tax law updates, IRS procedures, and emerging issues affecting the tax industry. Additionally, attendees can earn up to 18 continuing education credits by participating.
Dates and locations
Forum highlights
- Exhibit hall. Industry representatives showcase the latest tax technology and products.
- IRS Speakers Corner. Tax professionals can engage directly with seminar speakers and experts.
- Case Resolution Program appointments. IRS subject matter experts meet one-on-one with tax professionals to help resolve issues. This service is available by appointment only. Registered attendees may schedule appointments in advance.
- Digital Account Services. Experts provide guidance on accessing IRS online accounts and using real-time online services.
- Pre-forum events. On Mondays, IRS partners from the NAEA, NATP, NSA, NSTP, and Padgett Business Services will present strategies to help tax professionals attract and manage their customers, increase productivity, and improve work-life balance.
- Annual Filing Season refresher. Also on Mondays, IRS association partners will offer an optional annual Filing Season refresher for participants in the IRS Annual Filing Season Program.

- Early bird deadline, June 15: $275 per person. Members of the following partner associations can contact their association directly for a discount code to save an additional $10 on the early bird rate:

- National Society of Accountants
- National Society of Tax Professional
- Standard price, after June 15-two weeks before each forum: $329 per person
